New York in June

I could really get used to this...

View from the hotel window-right across the street from Madison Square Garden
Out for a walk through Herald Square
Snack time. That's my umbrella on the tray. It rained a bit and was very humid.
View of the street
Empire State Building...zero visibility from the top...so we had to settle for the one from the bottom.
Naked Cowboy in Times Square. I don't get it either.
Waiting in line for the Late Show...which was fascinating (the show, not the waiting) . Denzel Washington, Regis, and the Jo Bros were there.
Drinking the soda we bought from Rupert at the Hello Deli around the corner.
Central Park

Right Across the street from the Dakota where John Lennon lived

The Mall
The Dairy

Staten Island Ferry
That's the Statue of Liberty above my head

Back to the City.
Bowling Green Subway Station-the cutest one we saw.
Cell phone picture on the train.
Brooklyn Bridge

Little Italy
Museum Mile
Taking refuge from the rain in the Guggenheim...not too shabby a rain shelter

Fifth Ave
The Met
Temple of Dendur
You can see the rain sheeting down that window behind me
A reminder that this is a work trip (for Dan anyway)

Madison Square Garden
Another stealthy cell phone pic...yep that's me at a fight. More fascinating than I expected.
Times Square

Thanks Grandma for watching the kids
They loved every minute!
